Being undutiful to one`s parents is a great loss

In the Quran, Allah considered severing the ties of kinship to be one of the main reasons of loss. Moreover, Allah linked this evil act with spreading the corruption in the earth.

Allah the almighty said ( interpretation of the meaning ) :

{ Who break the covenant of Allah after contracting it and sever that which Allah has ordered to be joined and cause corruption on earth. It is those who are the losers.}
