Allah commands you to maintain the ties of kinship

In the Quran, Allah commanded us to maintain the ties of kinship. The most worthy ties of kinship to be maintained is the parents so that one shall do his best to honor his parents.

Allah the almighty said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { And those who join that which Allah has ordered to be joined and fear their Lord and are afraid of the evil of [their] account,} Quran ( 13 : 21 )
