O mankind, indeed the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver [i.e., Satan].

Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth?[1] Is there a deity with AllŒh? Little do you remember.

And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this QurÕan as [a thing] abandoned."[1]1- i.e., avoiding it, not listening to or understanding it, not living by it, or preferring something else to it.
