O you who have believed,..."

O you who have believed, remember Allah with much remembrance

It is He who created you from dust..."

It is He who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot; then He brings you out as a child; then [He develops you] that you reach your [time of] maturity, then [further] that you become elders

And whoever turns away from My remembrance ..."

And whoever turns away from My remembrance – indeed, he will have a depressed [i.e., difficult] life, and We will gather [i.e., raise] him on the Day of Resurrection blind."

Have those who disbelieved not considered..."

Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and then We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?

And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels.."

And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud.

And He has subjected to you whatever is in the heavens..."

And He has subjected to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth – all from Him. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought
