One feels lazy and does not hasten to offer the prayer because his heart is detached from his Lord and does not long for the Hereafter. In this case nothing remains but showing off and seeking the pleasure of people, this leads to hypocrisy.

Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) :

{ Indeed, the hypocrites [think to] deceive Allah, but He is deceiving them. And when they stand for prayer, they stand lazily, showing [themselves to] the people and not remembering Allah except a little, }
