who guide you? good or evil?

And O my people, how is it that I invite you to salvation while you invite me to the Fire?

You invite me to disbelieve in Allah and associate with Him that of which I have no knowledge, and I invite you to the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver.

Assuredly, that to which you invite me has no [response to a] supplication in this world or in the Hereafter; and indeed, our return is to Allah, and indeed, the transgressors will be companions of the Fire.

And Pharaoh said, "Let me kill Moses and let him call upon his Lord. Indeed, I fear that he will change your religion or that he will cause corruption[1] in the land."1- i.e., dissension or civil strife.

not equal are the living and the dead

And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves.You, [O Muúammad], are not but a warner.

The prayer of the compelled

Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth?[1] Is there a deity with AllŒh? Little do you remember.
