What did Jesus say about himself."

What did Jesus say about himself."

Mary returned to her people, holding her child in her arms. They looked at her, questioned her and accused her, but she did not engage in any futile argument. She simply pointed to the child. They said, “How can we speak to one who is still an infant in the cradle?” [Maryam: 29].
Then the miracle occurred: Jesus spoke while still an infant. The first words he uttered are reported in the Quran: “Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet. He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and charity as long as I remain alive. He has made me dutiful to my mother and has not made me a wretched tyrant” [Maryam: 30–32].
This is the image the Quran gives of Jesus, the Messiah, son of Mary, a prophet of Allah—blessed wherever he was, dutiful to his mother, and calling to the worship of Allah. You may have heard the story of Jesus and Mary many times, but there remains a question that is still worth asking quietly: Have you ever read their story as narrated by Quran itself
