Order righteousness to people only after practicing it yourself
Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason? (2: 44)

Do not follow anyone blindly
And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that which we found our fathers doing." Even though their fathers understood nothing, nor were they guided?
Keep the etiquettes of war
And kill them [in battle] wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al-Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers. (2: 191)
Stand out firmly for justice
O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is...
Forgive others for their mistakes
Take what is given freely, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the ignorant.
Speak to people mildly
And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]."
Do not prevent people from going to mosques
And who are more unjust than those who prevent the name of Allah from being mentioned [i.e., praised] in His mosques and strive toward their destruction. It is not for them to enter them except in fear. For them in this world is disgrace, and they will have in the Hereafter a great punishment.
