To whom one must pay Zakah?

Paying Zakah is one of the five pillars of Islam imposed by Allah on the Muslims. Zakah is the payment of part of the money to the poor and needy. The one who pays the Zakah has a great share of goodness in this world and in the Hereafter

Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { And [there are] others deferred until the command of Allah - whether He will punish them or whether He will forgive them. And Allah is Knowing and Wise. }
