Remembering Allah is the way to success

In the following verse Allah gave precedence to the purification over remembering Allah and offering the prayer because the purification is a condition for the validity of all the acts of worship. Once the soul is purified the lights of guidance will illuminate it, then it will realize its merits and search for it diligently.

Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) :

{ He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. }
