And be steadfast therein.

If the servant established his prayer in the manner enjoined upon him, he would have kept his religious commitment, so one is commanded to urge his family to pray.

Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) :

{ And enjoin prayer upon your family [and people] and be steadfast therein. We ask you not for provision; We provide for you, and the [best] outcome is for [those of] righteousness. }
