May be it is the most important cosmic discovery in the twentieth century. The scientists who discovered the following fact were awarded the Nobel Prize. They found out that galaxies are moving away very quickly away from each other which cause the expansion of the universe in an incredible way.
The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences said that the committee gave the Nobel Prize to three scientists because they studied tens of supernovas “stellar explosions”. They found out that the rate of the universe expansion is increasing. The committee confirms that this discovery was surprising to everybody even the winners of the prize.
