Alif, Lam, Meem.[1]

 This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah[1]

 1- Literally, "those who have taqwa," i.e., who have piety, righteousness, fear and love of Allah, and who take great care to avoid His displeasure

The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakah and do not fear except Allah, for it is expected that those will be of the [rightly] guided.

They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray.Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers."
