There is no need for coercion in religion, because coercion is only based on a matter whose effects are vague. As for this religion, it is clear and good, so the wise shall willingly choose it.

Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) :

{ There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become distinct from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in ṭāghūt1 and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.  }
