Reverence is the submission and tranquility of the heart, its humility before its Lord, its brokenness before him. If this is not the state of the heart during the prayer, one will find it difficult.

Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) :

{ And seek help through patience and prayer; and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah] }
