{ Just as We have sent among you a messenger from yourselves reciting to you Our verses and purifying you and teaching you the Book and wisdom and teaching you that which you did not know.}
Allah the almighty said ( interpretation of the meaning ) :
Quran ( 2 : 151 ).
This Messenger is to teach you the words and the meanings of the Quran as well as the Sunnah and the understanding of the rules of the Islamic Sharia and how to apply them. In this sense learning the Prophetic Sunnah is included in learning the book of Allah since the Prophetic Sunnah explains the book of Allah.
