Hud said O my people there is not foolishness in me...

Advising in the Quran

Hud said O my people there is not foolishness in me...

[H´d] said, "O my people, there is not foolishness in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds.

I convey to you the messages of my Lord, and I am to you a trustworthy adviser.

 (7:67-68)

Not upon the Messenger is [responsibility] except [for] notification

Not upon the Messenger is [responsibility] except [for] notification. And AllŒh knows whatever you reveal and whatever you conceal. (5-99)

And a man came from the farthest end of the city, running. He said, "O Moses, indeed the eminent ones are conferring over you [intending] to kill you, so leave [the city]; indeed, I am to you of the sincere advisors." (28:20)

And he [i.e., Salih] turned away from them and said, "O my people, I had certainly conveyed to you the message of my Lord and advised you, but you do not like advisors."  (7:79)
