Have We not made the earth a resting place?.

Have We not made the earth a resting place?

And the mountains as stakes?

And We created you in pairs.

And made your sleep [a means for] rest

And made the night as clothing
And made the day for livelihood.

And He has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it shift with you, and [made] rivers and roads, that you may be guided, And landmarks. And by the stars they are [also] guided.

​It is Allāh who made for you the earth a place of settlement."

It is Allāh who made for you the earth a place of settlement and the sky a structure [i.e., ceiling] and formed you and perfected your forms and provided you with good things. That is Allāh, your Lord; then [All] blessing is from Allāh, Lord of the worlds.
