"Then if they deny you, [O Muhammad] – ..."

{Then if they deny you, [O Muhammad] – so were messengers denied before you, who brought clear proofs and written ordinances and the enlightening Scripture.[1]}

Quran (3 :184)

{And We did not send before you, [O Muhammad], any of the messengers except that they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you [people] as trial for others – will you have patience? And ever is your Lord, Seeing} Quran (25 :20)

{And certainly were messengers denied before you, but they were patient over the denial, and they were harmed until Our victory came to them. And none can alter the words [i.e., decrees] of Allah. And there has certainly come to you some information about the [previous] messengers} Quran ( 6 : 34 )
