"Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], ..."

{Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And We revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants,[1] Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].

And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [Allah] with His praise. And sufficient is He to be, with the sins of His servants, [fully] Aware –

So proceed [i.e., travel] through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers} Quran (16:36)

"Muhammad is not but a messenger. ..."

{Muhammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before him. So if he was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels [to unbelief]? And he who turns back on his heels will never harm Allah at all; but Allah will reward the grateful.} Quran (3:144)

"And We send not the messengers except as bringers of good ..."

And We send not the messengers except as bringers of good tidings and warners. And those who disbelieve dispute by [using] falsehood to [attempt to] invalidate thereby the truth and have taken My verses, and that of which they are warned, in ridicule. Quran (18:56)
