When is this promise?

And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"

Say, "The knowledge is only with Allah, and I am only a clear warner."

If We had sent down this QurÕan upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and splitting from fear of Allah. And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will give thought.

And never think that AllŒh is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them [i.e., their account] for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror].

Indeed, [O Muhmmad], He who imposed upon you the Quran will take you back to a place of return.[1] Say, "My Lord is most knowing of who brings guidance and who is in clear error."

The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp; the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guid...

And your Lord has decreed

And your Lord has decreed

And your Lord has decreed that you worship not except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff,"[1] and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word.
