And We had already destroyed generations before you when they wronged,

Backbiting and Mocking

And We had already destroyed generations before you when they wronged,

And We had already destroyed generations before you when they wronged, and their messengers had come to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe. Thus do We recompense the criminal people.

Then We made you successors in the land after them so that We may observe how you will do.

And whoever saves one[3] – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And Our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even]...

And if Allah willed, He could have made them [of] one religion,.."

And if Allah willed, He could have made them [of] one religion, but He admits whom He wills into His mercy. And the wrongdoers have not any protector or helper.
