And my advice will not benefit you although I wished to advise you

And my advice will not benefit you – although I wished to advise you – if AllŒh should intend to put you in error. He is your Lord, and to Him you will be returned." (11:34)

"Indeed, [O Muhammad], you do not guide whom you like, but Allah guides whom.."

Indeed, [O Muhammad], you do not guide whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He is most knowing of the [rightly] guided. (28:56)

Hud said O my people there is not foolishness in me...

[H´d] said, "O my people, there is not foolishness in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds. I convey to you the messages of my Lord, and I am to you a trustworthy adviser.  (7:67-68)
