​When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muhammad], they say,"

When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muhammad], they say, "We testify that you are the Messenger of Allah." And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars.

​How [can there be a treaty] while, if they gain dominance over you, "

​How [can there be a treaty] while, if they gain dominance over you, "

How [can there be a treaty] while, if they gain dominance over you, they do not observe concerning you any pact of kinship or covenant of protection? They satisfy you with their mouths, but their hearts refuse [compliance], and most of them are defiantly disobedient.

And when they meet those who believe, they say, "We believe"; ."

And when they meet those who believe, they say, "We believe"; but when they are alone with their evil ones, they say, "Indeed, we are with you; we were only mockers."[But] Allah mocks them and prolongs them in their transgression [while] they wander blindly.

And speak to people good [words] and establish prayer and give zakah." Then you turned away, except a few of you, and you were refusing.
