Jonah supplication

And he called out within the darknesses, "There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers." So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers.

And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Quran as [a thing] abandoned."[1] 1- i.e., avoiding it, not listening to or understanding it, not living by it, or preferring something else to it.

Greatness of allah

They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.

Judgment Day

And never think that AllŒh is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them [i.e., their account] for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror].

Allah is swift in account.

This Day every soul will be recompensed for what it earned. No injustice today! Indeed, AllŒh is swift in account.

People with a beautiful record

So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record!Indeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account."So he will be in a pleasant lifeIn an elevated garden,Its [fruit] to be picked hanging near.[They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past."

Obedience to allah and the Messenger

O you who have believed, respond to AllŒh and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that AllŒh intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered.
