The true path lies in following the religion of Abraham

Abraham was not of the polytheists. Rather, he followed the religion legislated by Allah i.e. Islam.

Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) :

{ They say, "Be Jews or Christians [so] you will be guided." Say, "Rather, [we follow] the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth, and he was not of the polytheists."1 }

Quran ( 2 : 135 )
