One of the most evil acts which the Quran prohibited is to spread the corruption in the earth. The Quran considered severing the ties of kinship one of the basic features of spreading the corruption in the earth.

Allah the almighty said ( interpretation of the meaning ) :

{ So would you perhaps, if you turned away, cause corruption on earth and sever your [ties of] relationship? }
