Mary in The Quran

Allah favored the family of 'Imran over all the tribes of their times, he chose from them a woman whose story changed the course of the history. Allah named a chapter in the Quran after the family of `Imran. This chapter is composed of 200 verses.

Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) :

{ Indeed, Allah chose Adam and Noah and the family of Abraham and the family of 'Imran over the worlds -Descendants, some of them from others. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing. }
