Do not hasten to receive the respond for your supplication, Allah heard it and he knows what is best for you

Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) :

{ And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible.}

Quran ( 40 : 60 )

Combine the benefits of both this world and the Hereafter

Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { But among them is he who says, "Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire." Those will have a share of what they have earned, and Allah is swift in account. } Quran ( 2 : 201 - 202 )

Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided. } Quran ( 2 : 186 )

Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { [Mention] when the youths retreated to the cave and said, "Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance. } Quran ( 18 : 10 )

Reflect upon the creation of Allah and keep your tongue moist out of remembering and supplicating him

Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire. }Quran ( 3 : 191 )

Draw closer to Allah and resort to him

Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication. Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established." } Quran ( 14 : 40 – 41 )

Supplicating Allah is the way out of distress

Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { Call upon your Lord in humility and privately; indeed, He does not like transgressors. And cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. And invoke Him in fear and aspiration. Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to the doers of good. } Quran ( 7 : 55 - 56 )
