Mary chose to be a worshiper of Allah alone with no partner, and she did not ever assume that her child would be worshiped by some people, since she and her son were worshiping Allah the One.

Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) :

{ O Mary, be devoutly obedient to your Lord and prostrate and bow with those who bow [in prayer]." }
