"And indeed it is, in the Mother of the Book..."

And indeed it is, in the Mother of the Book[1] with Us, exalted and full of wisdom.[2]

And indeed, it [i.e., the Quran] is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds.The Trustworthy Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] has brought it down Upon your heart, [O Muhammad] – that you may be of the warners –

"And this [Quran] is a Book We have revealed [which is] blessed,..."

And this [Quran] is a Book We have revealed [which is] blessed, so follow it and fear Allah that you may receive mercy.

"And We have certainly given you, [O Muhammad]..."

And We have certainly given you, [O Muhammad], seven of the often repeated [verses][1] and the great Qur'an.

praise is [due] to Allah, who has sent down upon His Servant..."

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, who has sent down upon His Servant [Muhammad] the Book and has not made therein any deviance.[He has made it] straight, to warn of severe punishment from Him and to give good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a good reward [i.e., Paradise].
