O mankind, indeed We have created you from male...

O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous[1] of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Aware.

And if We give man a taste of mercy from Us and then We withdraw it from him

And if We give man a taste of mercy from Us and then We withdraw it from him

And if We give man a taste of mercy from Us and then We withdraw it from him, indeed, he is despairing and ungrateful. But if We give him a taste of favor after hardship has touched him, he will surely say, "Bad times have left me." Indeed, he is exultant and boastful –

And decree for us in this world [that which is] good and [also] in the Hereafter;..

And decree for us in this world [that which is] good and [also] in the Hereafter;..

And decree for us in this world [that which is] good and [also] in the Hereafter; indeed, we have turned back to You." [Allah] said, "My punishment – I afflict with it whom I will, but My mercy encompasses all things." So I will decree it [especially] for those who fear Me and give zakah and those who believe in Our verses–

Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning],

Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning],

Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

And when those come to you who believe in Our verses, say, ...

And when those come to you who believe in Our verses, say, ...

And when those come to you who believe in Our verses, say, "Peace be upon you. Your Lord has decreed upon Himself mercy: that any of you who does wrong out of ignorance and then repents after that and corrects himself – indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful."

So by mercy from Allah, [O Muúammad], you were lenient with them...

So by mercy from Allah, [O Muúammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him].
