The believing men and believing women are allies

The believing men and believing women are allies of one another.  They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger.  Those – Allah will have mercy upon them. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.

There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion.  The right course has become distinct from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut [1] and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it.  And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
