Behind the Crowds

During the World Cup… millions gather around one thing. Different colors. Different languages. But with the same feeling. And this reveals something important:
Human beings need to feel that they belong. They need to feel that their lives have meaning, that their hearts are not alone in this world. The Quran speaks of humanity in a very close way, not as a rigid text, but as a message that understands human beings from within : "And in yourselves. Then will you not see?" (Adh-Dhariyat:21).
It's as if the Quran invites you to pause for a moment… amidst the noise, amidst the daily rush, amidst everything that steals your attention away.

Then it asks you calmly Have you ever meditated about your own self?

This heart… this consciousness… this constant yearning for something greater than material life… where do they all come from? And why do human beings still search… even after all this progress that has been accomplished?
