Islam A Religion of Integrity and Responsibility

﴿ Indeed, We offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant﴾ [AL‑AḤZĀB: 72]

Consider the greatness of the trust that the heavens, the earth, and the mountains feared and refused to carry... while man accepted it, but he was unjust to himself, ignorant of the consequences of his affair.

﴿ Indeed, We offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant﴾ [AL‑AḤZĀB: 72]

Honesty is a great responsibility that Allah offered to the great creatures, but they refused, while man dared to bear it! Do we really realize the trusts we carry around our necks

#Honesty#

﴿Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing﴾ [ AN-NISĀ’ : 58]

Honesty is not just an individual behavior, but rather a measure of trust and a measure of integrity. When you perform your trust properly, you plant security in the hearts of those around you.

﴿Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing﴾ [ AN-NISĀ’ : 58]

Justice does not require a position, but rather a living conscience. Responsibility is not complete unless the trusts are fulfilled properly. Be fair, be honest, be close to the heart and the truth.

﴿O you who have believed, do not betray Allah and the Messenger or betray your trusts while you know [the consequence]﴾ [AL‑ANFĀL : 27]

One of the greatest forms of betrayal is wasting a trust that you know is yours. A true believer does not betray those he trusts, nor does he neglect what is entrusted to him.

#Creating_honesty

﴿O you who have believed, do not betray Allah and the Messenger or betray your trusts while you know [the consequence]﴾ [AL‑ANFĀL : 27]

Betrayal hurts trust, breaks hearts, and destroys prestige. Do not betray what is placed in your hands, for every trust will be questioned one day.

#Perfect_intention

﴾It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, [His being above all creation], and made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things﴾ (AL‑BAQARAH : 29)

Caliphate on earth is a responsibility, not just an honor. Man was created to populate the earth, not to corrupt it, to establish justice, not to shed blood. Be a true caliph, as God intended you to be.

#Human_Mission

﴾It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, [His being above all creation], and made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things﴾ (AL‑BAQARAH : 29)

What matters is not your position, but what you do with it.

You were created for a great mission. Will you be one of those who reform, or one of those who corrupt?

You are a caliph on earth... so do not betray your trust.

#Earth_development

﴾It is Allah who subjected to you the sea so that ships may sail upon it by His command and that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful. And He has subjected to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth – all from Him. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought﴾ (AL‑JĀTHIYAH : 12-13)

The ships sailing in the sea are a reminder to us of the greatness of Allah, who has subjected everything in this universe to us.

Let us thank Allah for His countless blessings.

﴾It is Allah who subjected to you the sea so that ships may sail upon it by His command and that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful. And He has subjected to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth – all from Him. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought﴾ (AL‑JĀTHIYAH : 12-13)

Allah submitted for us everything in heaven and earth, so that we may strive to seek sustenance and be thankful for His blessings. Contemplating Allah’s verses opens the doors of appreciation and gratitude for us.

#Ponder_about_the_universe

﴾Then We made you successors in the land after them so that We may observe how you will do﴾ [YŪNUS: 14]

Allah has appointed us as successors on earth to be the cause of its development, not its destruction.

How do we work in this trust that Allah has placed in our hands?

﴾Then We made you successors in the land after them so that We may observe how you will do﴾ [YŪNUS: 14]

The biggest test in this life is how we behave in the land that Allah has made available to us.

Development of the earth begins with sincerity in our work.

#Our_responsibility_in_the_earth

﴿Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer – We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do﴾ [AN-NAḤL : 97]

A good life does not come from money or prestige, but from faith and good deeds.

Every good deed, whether small or big, will grant you a great reward from Allah.

#Good_life

﴿Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer – We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do﴾ [AN-NAḤL : 97]

The believer lives a good life not for what he has, but for what he does.

If you work with honesty and faith, you will receive a reward that cannot be measured by your deeds.

#Good_work

﴿Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds – they will have the Gardens of Paradise as a lodging, Wherein they abide eternally. They will not desire from it any transfer﴾ [AL‑KAHF : 107-108]

Paradise is only given to those who believe and do good deeds, as it is a reward that cannot be measured by money or status.

The eternal paradise is for those who follow the right path.

#Jannatul_Firdaws

﴿Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds – they will have the Gardens of Paradise as a lodging, Wherein they abide eternally. They will not desire from it any transfer﴾ [AL‑KAHF : 107-108]

Every good deed brings you one step closer to Paradise, where there is no change or diversion from this eternal blessing.

It is real life that does not require an alternative.

﴿So remain on a right course as you have been commanded, [you] and those who have turned back with you [to Allah], and do not transgress. Indeed, He is Seeing of what you do﴾ [HŪD: 112]

Staying on the right path is not a choice, but a command from Allah.

Continue your journey with repentance, and do not allow temptation to mislead you.

#Integrity_on_right_path

﴿So remain on a right course as you have been commanded, [you] and those who have turned back with you [to Allah], and do not transgress. Indeed, He is Seeing of what you do﴾ [HŪD: 112]

Do not be arrogant in your effort, cause Allah sees what you do. Stay steadfast in what you are commanded, and you will find salvation in this world and the hereafter.

#Repentance_and_righteousness

﴿Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allah" and then remained on a right course – the angels will descend upon them, [saying], "Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised. We [angels] were your allies in worldly life and [are so] in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish]﴾ [FUṢṢILAT : 30-31]

Steadfastness in faith gives you inner security and peace in this world, and a paradise in which all your wishes will be fulfilled in the afterlife.

Remember: Angels are with you every moment.

﴿Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allah" and then remained on a right course – the angels will descend upon them, [saying], "Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised. We [angels] were your allies in worldly life and [are so] in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish]﴾ [FUṢṢILAT : 30-31]

Whoever adheres to the truth, Allah will give him good tidings of a paradise in which he will not lack anything.

The angels invite him to reassure, and promise him everything he desires in this world and the hereafter.
