If the enemy inclines toward peace sincerely, accept it with trust in Allah, for He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

And they ask you, [O Muhammad], about the soul. Say, "The soul is of the affair [i.e., concern] of my Lord. And you [i.e., mankind] have not been given of knowledge except a little" (Al-Isra 17:85)

That is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whom He wills. And one whom Allah sends astray – for him there is no guide" (Az-Zumar 39:23)
