The best deeds and greatest words are calling to Allah, doing righteous deeds, and admitting Islam. This is the path to please Allah.
Corruption and Da'wah: Two Paths, Two Ends
If there had not been among the previous nations those who forbade corruption on earth, destruction would have been complete, but Allah saved a few of them. O Allah, grant us to be among the reformers!
"And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does
righteousness and says, “Indeed, I am of the Muslims.”'" [Fussilat: 33]
"Those who call to Allah and do righteous deeds are among the people closest to Allah, and through their calling, society is reformed and blessings are spread. O Allah, grant us to be among those people!
“The hypocrite men and hypocrite women are of one another. They
enjoin what is wrong and forbid what is right and close their
hands. They have forgotten Allah, so He has forgotten them
[accordingly]. Indeed, the hypocrites – it is they who are the
defiantly disobedient.” [At-Tawbah:67]
"The hypocrites, both men and women, are those who enjoin what is wrong and forbid what is right, and restrain themselves from doing what is good. They have forgotten Allah, so their reward is being forgotten by Allah.

hands. They have forgotten Allah, so He has forgotten them

"Those who tighten their hands to avoid doing good and are led to what is wrong have forgotten Allah, so their reward is being forgotten. O Allah, grant us to be among the people of good deeds and obedience!
“Say, "This is my way; I invite to Allah with insight, I and those who
follow me. And exalted is Allah; and I am not of those who
associate others with Him." ” [ Yûsuf: 108]
"This is our call, calling to Allah with insight, while remaining steadfast as concerns truth and sincerity. We will only follow that which pleases Allah alone.
“Say, "This is my way; I invite to Allah with insight, I and those who
follow me. And exalted is Allah; and I am not of those who
associate others with Him." ” [ Yûsuf: 108]
We build our call to Allah upon insight and faith, while adhering to unicity, away from polytheism. O Allah, grant us to be among those who follow this path.
“So why were there not among the generations before you those
of enduring discrimination forbidding corruption on earth – except a few of those We saved from among them? But those who
wronged pursued what luxury they were given therein, and they
were criminals.
And your Lord would not have destroyed the cities unjustly while
their people were reformers”[Hûd: 116, 117]

Allah does not destroy cities unless corruption prevails in them; but if their people are reformers, Allah will protect them. Let us all work to reform what is around us.
“And [mention, O Muḥammad], when your Lord said to the angels,
"Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They
said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and
sheds blood, while we exalt You with praise and declare Your
perfection?"He [Allah] said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know." ” [Al-Baqarah: 30]
Allah, exalted be He, chose man to be a regent on earth despite the corruption some see. But Allah's knowledge is immense, and we do not know what He knows.
The angels wondered about human corruption, but Allah knows what we do not know. Let us be among the reformers on earth to prove His wisdom.
“And [Allah revealed] that if they had remained straight on the way, We would have given them abundant rain [i.e., provision]. So We might test them therein. And whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord He will put into arduous punishment.”{ Al-Jinn:16,17]
If people had remained on the straight path, they would have received great blessings from Allah, but rejecting His remembrance exposes them to punishment.

Remaining on the straight path in the religion of Allah brings about blessings and mercy, but rejecting His remembrance leads to punishment. Let us strive for righteousness.
"And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah, We would have opened [i.e., bestowed] upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they denied [the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning." [Al-A'raf: 96]
If people believed and feared Allah, the gates of blessings from heaven and earth would have been opened for them. But to deny the truth leads to destruction.
"And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah, We would have opened [i.e., bestowed] upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they denied [the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning." [Al-A'raf: 96]
Faith and piety bring about blessings from Allah, but to deny the truth results in destruction. Let us strive to fear Allah to deserve His blessings.
There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] religion. The right course has become distinct from the wrong one. So whoever
disbelieves in ṭaghut [false objects of worship] and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing." (Al-Baqarah: 256)
There is no compulsion in religion. Faith is a free choice for those for whom right guidance has become distinct. Whoever chooses to believe in Allah has grasped the firmest handhold.

Religion is the choice of the heart, and whoever chooses to believe in Allah and follow the truth has grasped the greatest bond. O Allah, grant us to be among the people of truth.
“And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed – all
of them entirely. Then, [O Muḥammad], would you compel the people in order that they become believers? ”[Yûnus: 99 ]
Allah can make everyone on earth believe, but He has granted man the freedom of choice for which He will hold him accountable on the Day of Judgment. There is no compulsion in embracing a religion (although it is better and preferable to be part of the nation of the Prophet Muhammad).
“And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed – all
of them entirely. Then, [O Muḥammad], would you compel the people in order that they become believers? ”[Yûnus: 99 ]
Allah does not compel people to believe, but rather leaves
them free to choose between truth and falsehood. Let us
choose faith of our own free will, and let us obey the
commands of our Lord.
